Sharpen your skills in creating, presenting and facilitating results-oriented Zonta training. Commit to providing training in this new biennium and begin to design it during this workshop. At the end of the workshop you will be able to:

Morning 9 AM - 12 PM

  • Identify adult learning needs
  • Recognize desired outcomes
  • Design training to achieve outcomes
  • Incorporate experiences to apply skills
  • Develop effective PowerPoint slides
  • Use slides to enhance training
  • Engage the learner in activities


Afternoon 1 - 3 PM

  • Develop appropriate role-playing scenarios
  • Apply effective questioning skills
  • Use facilitation skills to involve all learners
  • Provide clear tasking instructions for an activity
  • Create a training plan for your desired audience
  • Deal with logistics
  • Evaluate the learning experience

This session will provide high-level professional training skills to enhance Zonta training in a full-day interactive workshop geared to district leaders.  Certificate upon completion.

Please bring your laptop or tablet to use in the workshop.
 You will be working in groups based on what training you want to develop. Some options are: club presidents, club treasurers, club committee chairs, club board, area directors, new club builders, membership recruiters, advocates for women’s issues, Foundation programs and projects, Zonta history and achievements, etc.
